Great SUP lesson, Anna gave excellent friendly, relaxed and clear instruction. Equipment was really good quality and Anna ensured life jackets were the right fit. Highly recommended if you want to learn.

Anna was a fantastic instructor - knowledgeable and great fun. My daughter gained loads of confidence and was standing up in no time. It's hard to beat the location too.

Had a great time this weekend taking my teenage daughter and her friend SUP on the Avon.
I'd been a bit nervous beforehand that I wouldn't be able to do it....
However the boards were wide and sturdy, and with Anna's calm, kind and knowledgeable instruction I had confidence to try kneeling, sitting and standing up - all without falling in.
So enjoyed experiencing the river and wildlife this way.
The teens had great fun and loved the extra tips Anna gave them.
We really enjoyed it and will go again.

I’ve often seen people out on the river paddle boarding and wanted to give it a go. I asked family for a voucher for my birthday and finally used it this weekend. It was lots of fun! We were out with a group of about 8 others, of varied experience. My husband and I were newbies and were so grateful to the instructors, who guided us through how to paddle, kneel, stand, get back to kneeling again… and we didn’t fall in!
Would definitely recommend SUP Stratford and will be back again!

Dog friendly paddle board hire- I rented a paddle board after I messaged with Anna, she was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was trying to see if I could get my dog into paddle boarding and it’s looking promising, will definitely be coming back if they let us.
Parking is straightforward, buy a ticket; keep the ticket; take the ticket to the bar to exchange for food/drink after your fun on the river; relax.

What a great first lesson with Stratford SUP! It was a real experience and our instructor Anna made it all feel easy and enjoyable. I should have done this ages ago and can’t wait for my next lesson.

We had such a great afternoon with Anna at SUP Stratford. After a concise safety briefing, we were out on the water and paddling before we knew it. Anna was brilliant with all the different abilities in the group and managed to give everyone the help and advice they needed as we paddled our way up stream.
We went as a group of four complete beginners and by the end of our time, some of us had managed to stand but we all enjoyed ourselves regardless.
Anna is a great teacher and obviously loves what she does. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

We had a great evening playing on the river. Anna and Josh were really patient as we were all beginners. Despite the wind we all made it up the river and all managed to stand and paddle. We will definitely be back to rent out some boards.

SUP Stratford provided a brilliant introduction to SUP. Anna and Emma gave clear advice and support throughout my time with them and made the experience really fun. Plus, none of the 6 of us on the course fell in which was particularly fortunate since it was snowing at one point! The part of the river that SUP Stratford use is absolutely lovely and I finished the session with a love for SUP. I will definitely be looking to go out again very soon.

We had a wonderful paddle boarding session with SUP Stratford. Anna took 4 of us out along the Avon - she was friendly, helpful and patient and had all of us standing on the board within the first ten minutes. The route was picturesque, the river calm, and the whole experience very peaceful. Would highly recommend!
